The Qashqai wedding takes place in a lush green plain near Firoozabad, Fars province, in a location chosen by agreement between the bride’s and groom’s families. This ceremony is more than just a simple celebration; it is a ritual that reflects the identity, history, and social relationships of the Qashqai people.

Black tents (Siah Chador) are set up on the plain, and the sound of traditional drums and Naqqareh fills the air. Men and women dressed in colorful traditional clothing dance and sing; these dances and songs have been passed down orally from generation to generation.

Children play while elders watch calmly to ensure that customs are preserved. The ceremony is closely connected to nature and the nomadic lifestyle, representing the solidarity and living culture of the Qashqai community.
